The subject of this response is one of isolation. Universities are connected by a worldwide association of members, an extensive public programme of lectures, exhibitions, publications, undergraduate and graduate schools, and many visiting schools that take place across the globe.
So how can a clearing in a remote patch of forrest fit into this? Is now the time to question what it means to construct a woodland campus?
